One of them included morbid obesity.<\/p>\n<p>During her hospitalization, she developed a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.webmd.com\/skin-problems-and-treatments\/four-stages-of-pressure-sores\">Stage II pressure sore<\/a>, which was documented two days before she was transferred to a nursing home for rehabilitation.<\/p>\n<p>About a week and a half into the nursing home residency, she was transferred back to the hospital where she was diagnosed with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/diseases-conditions\/sepsis\/home\/ovc-20169784\">sepsis<\/a>. She required <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Debridement\">debridement<\/a> and other wound treatment for the bed sores, which by then had worsened.
