The Illinois Appellate Court affirmed that ruling. The jury returned a verdict in the defendant\u2019s favor.  <\/p>\n<p>The appellate court ruled that the trial judge did not err when giving jury instructions and that the instruction tendered was accurate and without undue repetition. Justice David W. Ellis delivered the opinion of the appellate court.  <\/p>\n<p>Jeffrey S. Goldberg sued Dr. N. Scott Peckler and <a href=\"https:\/\/doctor.webmd.com\/practice\/north-suburban-surgical-consultants-3cb9b8c8-4703-e211-a42b-001f29e3eb44\/physicians\">North Suburban Surgical Consultants<\/a> in the Circuit Court of Cook County.
