At the hospital, she was diagnosed as having multiple pelvic fractures. <\/p>\n<p>She was admitted to the hospital for pain control and rehabilitation when placed on DVT (deep vein thrombosis) prophylaxis.<\/p>\n<p>During the hospitalization, Norton experienced pain, nausea, vomiting and constipation. Later, she had difficulty breathing.
