{"id":6025,"date":"2016-05-09T10:00:07","date_gmt":"2016-05-09T15:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/injury.robertkreisman.com\/?p=6025"},"modified":"2016-05-09T15:08:45","modified_gmt":"2016-05-09T20:08:45","slug":"82000-jury-verdict-three-car-chain-reaction-crash-red-light","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.robertkreisman.com\/injury-lawyer\/82000-jury-verdict-three-car-chain-reaction-crash-red-light\/","title":{"rendered":"$82,000 Jury Verdict in Three-Car Chain Reaction Crash at Red Light"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Oct. 18, 2011, Shama Khan was a passenger in her husband\u2019s car, which was stopped at a red light on eastbound Grand Avenue (Route 132) near Stonebrook Drive in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gurnee.il.us\">Gurnee<\/a>, Ill.\u00a0 The defendant Shawn Tabin, 72, was driving his car eastbound and then rear-ended the car behind the Khan vehicle, which was pushed into the back of Khan\u2019s car.<\/p>\n<p>The plaintiff Shama Khan, 48, maintained in the lawsuit that was filed that the impact of the collision caused her to suffer a protruding <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spine-health.com\/conditions\/spine-anatomy\/cervical-discs\">cervical disc<\/a>, which was unoperated, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spine-health.com\/conditions\/neck-pain\/what-cervical-radiculopathy\">cervical radiculopathy<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spine-health.com\/conditions\/lower-back-pain\/lumbar-radiculopathy\">lumbar radiculopathy<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/diseases-conditions\/post-concussion-syndrome\/basics\/definition\/con-20032705\">post-concussion syndrome<\/a>, short-term memory deficits and depression. Her medical expenses were alleged to be $38,375.<\/p>\n<p>The defendant Shawn Tabin claimed that the middle driver, third-party defendant Gregory L.
