The question for the appellate court was: \u201cAre the allegations in the complaint automatically considered as having been admitted based on Section 2-610(b)?\u201d The answer to the question by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.state.il.us\/court\/AppellateCourt\/Judges\/Bio_5th.asp\">Illinois Appellate Court for the 5th District<\/a> was, \u201cNo.\u201d The appellate court concluded that \u201cSection 2-610 of the Code is inapplicable in a situation where there has been no answer filed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In this case, Crawford County Oil and LaCross Inc. sued Floyd Weger, Michael Worthy, Paula Worthy and Charlene Cornwell in a downstate Illinois municipality 243 miles south of Chicago. First, the defendants moved to dismiss.
