{"id":3342,"date":"2014-03-24T10:00:45","date_gmt":"2014-03-24T15:00:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/injury.robertkreisman.com\/?p=3342"},"modified":"2016-07-11T15:31:37","modified_gmt":"2016-07-11T15:31:37","slug":"rear-end-crash-leads-cook-county-jury-verdict","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.robertkreisman.com\/injury-lawyer\/rear-end-crash-leads-cook-county-jury-verdict\/","title":{"rendered":"Rear-End Crash Leads to Cook County Jury Verdict"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--[if gte mso 9]&gt;--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">On April 19, 2010, Frances Villarreal was stopped at a red light on eastbound 67<sup>th<\/sup> Street at Cicero Avenue in Chicago.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Villarreal was waiting to make a right turn when her car was rear-ended by the defendant, Cynthia Zaragoza.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>The crash occurred during the morning rush hour.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Villarreal claimed that she suffered an aggravation of bulging discs at L4-5 and L5-S1, as well as a<a href=\"http:\/\/wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sacroiliac_joint_dysfunction\"> sacroiliac joint dysfunction<\/a>, right shoulder sprain, thoracic\/lumbar sprains and a right knee contusion.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Her medical bills totaled $12,163.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The defendant denied that she was negligent and claimed that Villarreal stopped suddenly and was holding a beverage.
